If you’ve been a church musician for any length of time, you already know that playing the music is only one part of the job. You can spend hours learning songs, practicing transitions, figuring out keys, rehearsing with the team, and trying to make sure Sunday sounds the way it’s supposed to, only to get to church and find out the song changed, the key changed, the order changed, or somebody forgot to tell you something.
